Technopark is developing 450
acres of land in Pallippuram, 5 Kms north from the main Technopark campus
on the NH 47 to Kollam. This development has been conceptualized as an
integrated IT township, encompassing IT/ITeS infrastructure., residential apartments,
shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, and other
support facilities. Technopark shall act as a single point contact
and provide all the utilities and support services.

SunTec is going to establish their new campus in Tehnocity in an area of 10 acres. As reported in Hindu Business Line, Mr.Girish Babu, CEO Technopark, and Mr. Binod , Vice President Infosys, exchanged documents for leasing 50 acres of land at Technocity.

The Infosys campus, which will be commissioned within two years as per SEZ regulations, was bagged by the city after it was rejected by West Bengal. Other than the 50 acres for the Infosys campus, an additional 24 acres plus another 47 acres on the other side of NH 47 has been included to be brought under SEZ rules. Once fully operational, the self-dependent satellite city, Technocity, is expected to generate more than 2,00,000 job opportunities for the state.
